Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, but based in Texas, Ike Rivers writes from a place of heartfelt emotions. Blending introspective storytelling with the raw edges of indie folk and alt-rock, Ike’s music feels both personal and universal, with echoes of words you think of but never say or a text you never sent.  

With a sound that resonates honesty and influences from his favorites, such as Bon Iver, Noah Kahan, John Mayer, Coldplay, Hazlett, Aṣa, and Bez Idakula, among many others, Ike pairs heartfelt lyrics with moody acoustic textures and soaring melodies. Every song is a window into a lived experience or a story heard and a voice for those who feel too much and say too little.  If you’re into artists who aren’t afraid to say what hurts and still find the light, stick around.
